   Integrity? What would you know about Integrity? You’re the last person who should be bringing up integrity, doanchathink?

   Robert’s comment isn’t spin.

   …though it might appear to be…to inflexible ideologues. Or liars. Or dingbats. Or even to the more-than-a-few pathetic, ineffectual, desperate citizens who are vainly holding onto the mythical images of the Liberal party that engaged their imaginations at the time of their first political awakenings…

   For the rest of us, now grownups and clear-sighted, light years removed from our first political baby steps, its an obvious and rational explanation for what is being reported.

   Ignatieff’s Liberal party, even more than Martin’s or Chretien’s is not a party worth defending with obfuscation and willful ignorance. There is no longer any discernible difference between them and the Harper Cons, other than the management styles of their leadership cabals. Both parties are equally the enemy of most of what I hold dear about Canada. This highly suspect arrangement between the cowards and cretins who now control the Liberal party and the disgusting, jack-booted Fascists in sweater vests billing themselves as Conservatives right now is only confirmed by this unspoken, but nevertheless very real deal between these two equally corrupt groups of power worshiping, citizen-ignoring, self-centred political narcissists and opportunists.

   My only wish is that the few remaining principled Liberal members of our Canadian Parliament would develop the courage to leave this husk of a once-progressive political party and join with either the New Democrats or the Green party to help move Canada into the 21st century. Staying where they are will only hasten the destruction and/or dismantlement of the country they profess to serve.

   I’ve been away for some time and only now read your comments on Jan from the Bruce in a closed thread below. I felt the need to respond to your knee-capping even if Jan obviously didn’t think necessary. That must have something to do with the quality and temper of my upbringing…always looking to defend the weak and disenfranchised and those too polite to get down and dirty in the splashing mud of acrimony with thugs and bullies like you. You see, Ti, I deal with emotionally stunted, figurative baby-beaters like you on an almost daily basis. Taking you on, while no picnic, is hardly a demanding preoccupation.

   After reading everything that Jan has written here and on the Toronto Star’s online comments section for the past few years, I have to say that she has more often than not contributed constructively to the conversation - she’s certainly never obstructed or destroyed a thread to feed her own ego. That’s something I can’t say about you. Just look at how you handled Robert’s comments on the latest putrescent deal between Iggy and the Stooge and then to my above response to your usual Liberal-centric crap if you need confirmation of that.

   You’ve turned into an ideologically rigid, obnoxious, foul-mouthed ghoul with nothing to contribute to the conversation except for nastiness, hyper-exaggerations that feed and support your insatiable ego, deliberate cruelties and strident, shrieking demands directed at Robert to censor those who disagree with you. (You’re as vile as our resident underwear model/ambulance chaser in that regard.) Frankly, you’re a bore, if a repressed, deluded and violence-worshiping bore. Does that arise from your rigid and dogmatic attachment to Catholicism - the religion of self-flagellation? Or is it because you’re simply an unapologetic, self-loathing asshole with a life lived devoid of healthy self-regard, true friendship and trust?

   (Question asked rhetorically – an answer is neither requested nor required.

   …Though I doubt that will stop you from having something to say on the subject. There’s a lot of salivating Pavlov’s dogs dying to get out after years of living inside that cesspool of hate and resentment clinicians would define as your brain, aren’t there, you hollowed out, growling, snapping, flesh-tearing killer of Reason, you?)

   First step towards recovery: You need to stop enjoying your attacks on others so much if you ever expect to recover from whatever emotional illness it is that has stricken you.
