MASS SILENCE ON MASS GRAVES

Wow!

Location of Mass Graves of Residential School Children Revealed; Independent Tribunal Established

Squamish Nation Territory (”Vancouver, Canada”) - At a public ceremony and press conference held today outside the colonial “Indian Affairs” building in downtown Vancouver, the Friends and Relatives of the Disappeared (FRD) released a list of twenty eight mass graves across Canada holding the remains of untold numbers of aboriginal children who died in Indian Residential Schools.

The list was distributed today to the world media and to United Nations agencies, as the first act of the newly-formed International Human Rights Tribunal into Genocide in Canada (IHRTGC), a non-governmental body established by indigenous elders.

Why has our media remained silent about this and more importantly, why have our politicians remained silent about this?

Contact the NDP’s Aboriginal Affairs critic, Jean Crowder, and ask her why the revelation of mass graves in Canada isn’t important to her.

The silence must end.

First off, the media hasn’t remained entirely silent. there has been more coverage than there is evidence to support the claims.

How much more do you really expect?

Per the link above. Isn’t it funny that the Right-Wingnuts have spent years writing all sorts of unflattering things about Phl Fontaine and the AFN, but now that they find the AFN useful for tearing apart the work done by Kevin Annett and the elders he is working with, they are fans of the AFN.

As I have always maintained, the only reason right-wingers are interested in Aboriginal issues is if they can use it to score cheap rhetorical points in some sort of discussion.

Actually, we don’t give a shit, guys. The first nation freeloaders and the idiots that pander to them are of little interest to us. This is just the usual crap from the same group of nutroot howler monkeys to sob and wail over.

    Fuck off, shit bag.

  5. Jim said,

    Same to you son.

Sorry douche bags - but if you want a media outlet run by retards for other retards, you are stuck with the CBC, various yellow journals, and a handful of obscure journalists and a few outright crackpots.

It’s a fact of life. Lunacy only sells to a tiny disgruntled minority and nobody cares what they think.

  6. Understand this, *Jim*:

Finding out and exposing the truth about this stuff, and dealing properly with any objectively guilty and/or complicit individuals involved, is no different than working to ensure that objectively guilty and/or complicit WW2 concentration camp thugs get their dues.

Residential school “students” were captives, Jim, in every sense of the word, and “ethnic cleansing” isn’t at all too strong a term to describe what was being attempted.

Some of what went one was, horribly but merely, misguided–and even somehow benevolently intended–paternalistic attempts to “bring the uncivilized Red Man into the modern age with the rest of Canadians”.

But lots of what went on was nothing but overt, brutal abuse and murder at the hands of power-sickened, vicious monsters who callously attacked these innocent people just because they could.

The paternalists very sadly didn’t know any better–but the thugs did (which is evidenced by the fact they hid what they did), and they’re straight-up criminals.

I love the standards at work…

Oh Oh Oh - Some Right Whingers Are Being Sued for Libel! OMG OMG This MUST BE STOPPED — The rights of these people are being abused and THIS CANT HAPPEN IN CANADA - Send Money NOW NOW NOW.!

    vs…

thousands of innocent children were kidnapped from their family’s homes, sent to these Residential Schools where they were little better than endentured servants. They were exposed to deadly diseases, starved, beaten, sexually abused… SUCK IT UP INJUNS — Quit Your Bitching!

  8. Jim said,

Good luck with trying to regulate free speech assholes. You are gonna need it by the look of it.

  9. Ti-Guy said,

We don’t want to regulate “free speech assholes.” Their (your) assholism is irremediable.

Fuck yourself some more, shit bag. C’mon…you can do it.

  10. Jim said,

Are you wearing your pull-up diapers today young fella?

  11. Ti-Guy said,

No, no…you’re suppose to mention how much you enjoy the idea of mass graves.

Don’t start getting all lucid now.

  12. Jim said,

Hey Ti - next time your old lady is slapping the piss out of you remember this: Domestic violence is a case of two idiots fighting - and the smaller idiot losing.

    You’re welcome.

  13. Ti-Guy said,

    Shut up, trash.
