BaghdadOttawa Bob is claiming that an evil cabal of conservative socialist vampires within the ranks of the NDP were responsible for everything he did wrong during his time as Ontario Premier. Or something like that.

ANOTHER CASE OF PREMATURE EJANKULATION
Oh my gawd! Some anonymous guy with a website is claiming some anonymous source says Garth Turner has decided to join the Green Party. With sourcing like that, how can it not be true? After all, everyone knows that two anonymous sources make a fact.
Of course it’s a win-win situation for some anonymous guy with a website to report this since they have a 50% chance of being right. And if they are it’s certain to invoke another dreary round of gratuitous backslapping from the right whingers in celebration of their triumphant scoop over the evil MSM. And if they’re wrong it’s not like there’s any risk to their credibility since silly notions like credibility only apply to the lib-left.
The funny–and I mean funny in a disturbing sort of way–part of this however, is that ever since Turner was booted out of the Conservative caucus last week and the speculation mounted that he might join the Green Party, the right whingers have been chomping at the bit to howl that he’s a hypocrite because of his earlier position on floor crossing. It looks like after a week of self imposed abstinence they can no longer contain themselves and some anonymous guy with a website has provided the release needed to trigger what is clearly another case of premature eJankulation. I just hope they have lots of tissues handy to clean up their sticky mess.

PROGRESSIVE POETRY BLOGBURST
Here’s my entry in the Progressive Poetry Blogburst initiated over at Pogge.
The Court Challenges program we all grieve,
Was killed by a Prime Minister dubbed Steve.
But his pandering haste;
Disguised as cutting waste,
Let slip the sly agenda from his sleeve.

TURNER TURFED FROM COMMITTEE
MP Garth Turner has now been turfed from the finance committee. He’s not taking this one lying down though and has dished out a little dirt on what PMS is doing behind the scenes.
This government has actually had a PMO senior staffer in national caucus recently instructing MPs on how to politicize the committees and turn them into instruments of government policy.
Like I’ve said before, this new conservative movement, as defined by the Bush Republicans and Harper Conservatives, devotes most of its time to the politics of electioneering at the expense of good governance.
