CAN OUR BORDER GUARDS JUST SHOOT THEM

Maybe it’s time we considered building our own fence on the Canada/US border in order to protect our sovereignty.

An internal FBI audit shows that U.S. agents carry out investigations in Canada, often without the knowledge or approval of the Canadian government.

The most annoying aspect of this is that permission would likely be given for these agents to carry out their investigations. But just like the warrantless wiretapping, it’s another example of the Bushgov’s belief that they’re simply above the law and can do whatever they want whenever they want.

SUPPORT THE TROOPS BUT DON’T PAY THEM

Another example of how the Support the Troops crowd discards them when they’re no longer useful.

Canadian Forces personnel serving overseas are given extra pay, on top of their normal salaries, to account for the hardship and risk. Those who are currently serving their second tour of duty in Kandahar, for instance, receive $2,111 a month, tax-free, above their regular pay. In addition, those on high-risk missions are given an income-tax exemption of up to $6,647 a month.

That ends if a soldier’s wounds are so severe that he or she must be removed from the theatre of war.

Naturally the only response the New Government of Canada could muster was to shriek that teh Liberals did it. Oh well, suck it up boys. PMS needs to reduce spending somewhere so as to be able to pay for this $800 million dollar boondoggle.

SCHOOL BOARD TRUSTEES

James Bow thinks it’s time to get rid of elected school board trustees. After reading his argument for it I have to say I agree with him.
